The War being waged on Freedom
Okay. Well, how did we come to this point? How does a European country like the UK, claiming to be free & allied with the USA to defeat mankind's greatest threats to freedom in the 20th century; how did they become this very ugly censorious regime? How did that happen?
Because they won't fix the problems that are causing it. Some people have been arrested for genuinely violent speech and they've gotten into trouble for that. But a lot of people are frustrated simply because they cannot speak about the things that matter to them. And when they do speak about the things that matter to them, they're labeled as bigots or racists.
It's not just the absence of people talking about it. It's mainstream legacy media directing people's attention elsewhere and simply not reporting on things. There's just a huge bubbling sense of frustration that could, lead to some sort of societal collapse. That's not out of the question at all.
The first act of a tyrant is to strip you of your right to speak because they know that their policies and ideas cannot withstand scrutiny, they cannot survive being mocked. They cannot tolerate dissent. They cannot tolerate alternative views because they cannot tolerate the scrutiny that will come with allowing people to freely speak and having to defend the horrific policies that they've been implementing in their countries for the last couple of decades.
We're seeing that repeatedly in England, in Spain, in France, in other countries. We're seeing it everywhere. They're going after X because X has decided to be take a maximalist position of free speech to have the most possible free speech and that's inimical to their view which is that we cannot have free speech.
The left loved Elon Musk until he spent $44B to buy Twitter. He spent $44B to save the first amendment. So they loved him before he bought X and said I am going to honor and respect the first amendment.
When you can't settle disputes via debate then they get settled via some other way. And that's the scary thing.
