The modern leftist's attitude toward control, equality, and education is driven primarily by two psychological tendencies: feelings of inferiority and over-socialization. These traits lead leftists to seek collective power and favor a highly regulated, planned society that enforces their specific moral vision.

Attitude Toward Control

Leftism as a totalitarian force that seeks to invade every aspect of private life to enforce conformity.

• Collective Power: Driven by a psychological need for power that they cannot achieve individually, leftists seek it through identification with large mass movements or organizations.
• Social Regulation: They favor the use of technology and psychological tools to manage human behavior, diet, child-rearing, and social interactions.
• Totalitarianism in Power: Leftists may advocate for freedom while they are outsiders, once they gain power, they become more oppressive than those they replaced, using the system to "re-educate" anyone with "negative attitudes".

Attitude Toward Equality

Leftist obsession with equality is a symptom of deep-seated feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence.

• Identifying with "Victims": Leftists identify intensely with groups they perceive as weak, defeated, or inferior (such as women or minorities), not out of true compassion, but because they see themselves in those groups.
• Hostility toward Strength: They tend to hate anything that appears strong, successful, or rational (like Western civilization or white males) because it makes them feel inferior by comparison.
• Rejection of Merit: Because they "feel like losers," leftists are antagonistic toward competition and any classification that labels some people or beliefs as "superior" or "successful" and others as "inferior" or "false". This leads them to reject IQ tests and genetic explanations for human behavior, preferring to blame society for any individual's "inferiority".

Attitude Toward Education and Socialization

Leftists view education as a scientific technique for controlling human development and integrating individuals into the system.

• Socializing Children: They support "enlightened" psychological techniques and "mental health" programs in schools to make children accept the fundamental values of the system and behave as society requires.
• Weakening the Family: Leftists favor state-managed programs like sex education because it takes the shaping of attitudes away from the family and puts it in the hands of the state.
• Integration through Education: They advocate for moving marginalized groups into high-prestige careers through improved education, which is a way of forcing them to adopt middle-class, industrial values like status-climbing and technical proficiency.

Modern leftists are fundamentally antagonistic to biological or genetic explanations (nature) for human behavior and abilities, preferring instead to attribute them to socialization and environmental factors (nurture).

Rejection of "Nature" in Human Differences

Leftists reject genetic explanations because such theories inevitably classify some individuals as "superior" and others as "inferior" based on innate traits.

• Avoidance of Hierarchy: Because leftists suffer from deep-seated feelings of inferiority, they cannot tolerate any classification that labels people as "successful" or "failed".
• Opposition to IQ Tests: This psychological need leads many leftists to reject the utility of IQ tests and the concept of mental illness, as these identify inherent differences in capability or stability.
• Preference for "Nurture": Leftists prefer to give society the credit or blame for an individual's status. If a person is perceived as "inferior," the leftist view holds that it is society's fault because the individual was not "brought up properly"

The "System's Neatest Trick"

The "activist" causes leftists champion (racism, sexism, etc.) actually serve the interests of the industrial-technological system rather than rebelling against it.

• Enforcing System Needs: Because ethnic and gender conflict interfere with the system's efficiency, the system uses leftist "rebels" as its enforcers to suppress deviant, non-conforming attitudes.
• Lightning Rod for Resentment: Leftists act as a lightning rod, directing public frustration toward "reformist" issues and away from the real source of powerlessness: the technological system itself.
